Audio conferencing using the Pexip bridge

The audio bridging capabilities of Pexip can be used as a stand-alone service for reservation less audio-only conferencing if an NDGOV stakeholder has previously requested a static Pexip Virtual Meeting Room (VMR) with its own unique meeting ID (e.g. 141xxxx). You can also schedule an audio-only event by submitting a ticket to the NDIT Service Desk. Audio-only participants can also join video conferencing participants since Pexip is also a video conferencing bridge. To join the audio-only connection of a Pexip VMR using a conventional desk or cell phone, you would follow these steps:

1. Dial into the Audio Bridge at 701-328-7850 (other local numbers below). You will be presented with a series of Voice Prompts.
2. "Please enter the number you wish to connect to followed by the pound (#) key."
3. All participants will enter the meeting ID (e.g. 16xxxxx or 141xxxx) followed by the # key.
4. "Please hold while I try to connect you."
5. If you are a Host only, please enter your conference PIN number (a guest PIN is optional). You DO NOT need to follow the PIN with the # key here.
6. All guests will be put into the hold queue until the Host joins the conference.
7. Once the host joins, all participants will hear "Welcome to the conference."
