What is it:
Understanding the current state of systems and processes is essential for both compliance and effective IT planning. As-Is Analysis focuses on documenting the existing environment to identify how current systems support business needs. This foundational phase helps uncover gaps between what the business requires and what the system currently delivers.
What do you get with the service:
- Business Process Modeling (BPM): Support in analyzing and documenting existing business processes
- Gap Fit Analysis: Identification of discrepancies between current operations and desired outcomes, including any critical missing steps that may be impeding progress toward business goals
How do you request service:
If your agency is interested in requesting a block of consulting time NDIT’s Self Service Portal may be used to submit a generic request with “As-Is Analysis & Documentation” in the description and any other details you wish to include.
Once approved by your agency, you’ll be contacted by a member of the BA Team to verify and begin the work.
Billing model:
The hourly rate for Business Analyst (BA) services is outlined in the current biennium’s Budget Guidelines. Services are billed via a signed Statement of Work (SOW), which includes the total number of hours and an estimated total cost.
