As I reflect on the past year, one thing is abundantly clear: technology is most powerful when it quietly enables others to succeed.
Every day, state agencies rely on secure networks, resilient infrastructure, modern applications, and trusted digital services to carry out their missions. Behind each of those services are the dedicated professionals at NDIT, working alongside our agency partners to ensure government remains reliable, responsive, and ready for whatever comes next.
At NDIT, our mission is straightforward but meaningful: to be the technology partner for the state, delivering trusted, reliable solutions so government can focus on what matters most—serving the people of North Dakota. That mission continues to guide every decision we make, every partnership we build, and every investment we pursue.
Without a doubt, we’ve built meaningful momentum over the past year.
We’ve strengthened the technology foundation that supports state government, advanced cybersecurity and digital accessibility initiatives, modernized critical systems, expanded opportunities for innovation, and continued improving the customer experience for the agencies we serve. These accomplishments reflect more than completed projects—they represent our ongoing commitment to delivering technology that’s dependable, secure, and built for the future.
We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together, but we also know there’s always room to improve. We continually evaluate our work, listen to stakeholder feedback, learn from experience, and look for better ways to serve our agency partners. That commitment to continuous improvement is essential to delivering technology North Dakota can rely on.
It’s also paramount to remember that nothing is done in isolation. Everything we do is made possible through strong partnerships across state government, the support of our legislative leaders, and the dedication of an exceptional NDIT team that approaches every challenge with professionalism, integrity, and a shared commitment to public service.
While I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together, I'm even more encouraged by where we’re headed. Technology continues to evolve at an unprecedented pace, creating new opportunities to improve services, strengthen security, and better serve our citizens. NDIT remains committed to embracing innovation thoughtfully—always with reliability, fiscal responsibility, and the needs of North Dakotans at the forefront.
