When to Work With Us
Our file transfer services are a good fit when you need to send files that are too large for email, share sensitive or confidential information securely, exchange files with external partners or vendors, or automate file exchanges between systems or applications.
We offer two primary options designed to protect state data and reduce risk:
North Dakota’s Secure File Transfer System allows you to:
- Upload files and send a secure download link to recipients.
- Invite others to securely upload files to you.
- Share files with people outside state government.
- Automatically remove files after a set time.
Files are scanned for viruses and protected using encryption while they’re transferred. (This option works well for most day-to-day file-sharing needs.)
For agencies that need to move files automatically between systems, this option supports:
- Automated transfers between servers.
- Scheduled data exchanges.
- Secure transfers between agencies or external partners.
