Guiding Technology, Empowering Agencies
Our Executive Leadership team is driving North Dakota’s digital future—shaping IT strategy, safeguarding technology, and helping state agencies serve citizens safely, efficiently, and effectively.
Leading With Vision & Collaboration
NDIT’s leaders—at every level—are guided by clear goals, practical solutions, and responsive support. Our Executive Leadership team sets the example by listening, collaborating, and creating solutions that put people before processes.

Corey Mock has served as North Dakota’s ninth Chief Information Officer since 2024, joining the executive branch after 16 years in the North Dakota House of Representatives. A lifelong North Dakotan and
proud UND graduate, Corey brings an insatiable curiosity and a strategic, solution-focused mindset to public service.
He believes all other state agencies are civic superheroes—and NDIT is their trusted sidekick. Together, they partner to deliver secure, efficient, and forward-thinking solutions that strengthen agency missions and improve services for all North Dakotans.
A mold-defying CIO, Corey challenges assumptions and isn’t shy about asking the tough (and often uncomfortable) questions that drive progress. He pushes the limits of what’s possible through technology, partnerships, and public policy—and takes pride in being the most unforgettable average guy you’ll ever meet. His personal motto? “The older I get, the less I know.”
Corey is empowered by an incredible team with a long history of service, support, and quiet excellence. He brings personal and professional connections from all 70,000 square miles of the Peace Garden State and has a deep love for its stories, people, and potential.
He’s also a proud dad to three wonderfully unique kids (all aspiring nerds), human to two golden retrievers, a state and local history enthusiast, and a retired stock car racer who still believes life is best lived a little sideways.

Greg Hoffman has been with NDIT since 2005 and has helped lead the agency since 2014. He holds bachelor’s degrees in accounting and business administration, as well as a master’s in business management. He’s also a certified technology business manager.
Greg was the first rate analyst ever hired by NDIT and has enjoyed building strong administrative teams to support the agency’s needs.
In his spare time, Greg enjoys spending time with family and friends while staying active. Fishing, hunting, and playing softball are among his main passions, with cooking, listening to music, and playing cards filling any remaining time.

Shelly Miller has worked at NDIT since 2006. Her career has spanned leadership roles such as Human Resources Director, Operations Director, and most recently Chief of Staff. Overseeing a diverse team, Shelly has helped drive organizational success across Human Resources, Learning & Outreach, Strategic Communications, and EduTech.
Shelly is focused on leadership and team member engagement, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration throughout NDIT. She works to align people, processes, and technology and values the opportunity to collaborate with diverse and knowledgeable IT professionals. Working in state government has allowed her to serve the public and positively impact citizens and stakeholders.
In her free time, Shelly enjoys being with her husband, four children, and 11 grandchildren. She loves country living, peaceful evenings at home, and activities such as four-wheeling, attending motocross races, camping, fishing, and gardening.

Craig Felchle is responsible for the vision and strategic direction of technology that empowers North Dakota’s state and local governments, educational institutions, and public safety organizations. He’s been with NDIT since 2007 and has been actively involved in state government since 2004.
Craig is passionate about guiding North Dakota’s transformational journey, ensuring the most effective technologies are in place for citizens and state agencies. He sets the standard for what it means to be a true servant leader.
A lifelong North Dakotan, Craig enjoys the outdoor and sportsman activities the state has to offer. He’s an active youth soccer coach for his two daughters and values time spent with his family.

Evonne Amundson drives the vision and execution of innovative IT solutions—providing efficient and secure services for state, local, and educational entities. She joined NDIT in 2020 as a Business Analyst Manager, was promoted to Chief Customer Success Officer in 2021, and became Chief Business Applications Officer in 2023.

In her free time, Evonne enjoys being with her husband, children, and grandchildren—especially at the lake, cherishing every stage of their growth.

Chris Gergen oversees the state’s information security program, protecting enterprise systems from internal and external threats while advising on key cyber issues. He’s passionate about cybersecurity and safeguarding the critical services that NDIT’s customers and North Dakota citizens rely on every day.
A dedicated civil servant since 2012, Chris began his public service career at the Bank of North Dakota and held several roles before joining NDIT in 2019 as a Senior Security Analyst. Kim Weis has a true passion for data and is a self-described “data evangelist,” committed to using information to improve the health and well-being of North Dakota citizens. She oversees how NDIT and state agencies leverage data to drive innovation, enhance efficiency, and achieve better outcomes for stakeholders.
Born and raised in Bismarck, ND, Kim earned her undergraduate degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. She later moved to Minnesota to earn a master of public health degree in epidemiology before returning to North Dakota in 2004.
It was at that time that Kim began her public service career at the North Dakota Department of Health as an epidemiologist.
